THE BANDO is a lot for browser games built and run by IGNIUM LLC. You open a door and play — there is no launcher, no download, and nothing you have to sign up for. This page says what that actually costs you in data, which is close to nothing, and where the exceptions are.

PLAYING WITHOUT AN ACCOUNT

This is the default and it is how most people will use the site. Your progress — save slots, roster, settings — is written to your own browser's local storage and never leaves the device. We do not upload it, we cannot read it, and clearing your browser data deletes it for good. There is no copy anywhere else.

IF YOU MAKE A BANDO ACCOUNT

A BANDO account is optional, and it exists for one reason: carrying a save between devices. It asks for a username and a PIN — no email address, and no real name. The PIN is stored only as a bcrypt hash, so nobody at IGNIUM can read it or tell you what it was; if you lose it we cannot recover the account for you.

With an account we store your username, that hash, a session token so you stay signed in, and the game saves you choose to sync. Nothing else. The account is THE BANDO's rather than any one game's, so a single username carries saves for everything on the lot.

ADVERTISING

thebando.cc shows ads from Google AdSense (publisher ca-pub-6396285394716461) in reserved boxes labelled “Advertisement” — one below the site header, one at the end of the page. They sit in the page's normal flow at a fixed reserved height. They are not menu items, they do not sit against the PLAY buttons, and they never cover a game. There are no ads inside a match.

Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to serve and measure those ads. What they collect and how to opt out is described at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

COOKIES AND LOCAL DATA

The games themselves use local storage, not cookies, and only for your own saves and settings. If you sign in to a BANDO account a session token is kept in the browser so a refresh does not sign you out. AdSense may set its own cookies as described above. You can clear site data at any time; you will lose local saves and be signed out.

WHO ELSE TOUCHES IT

Hosting and delivery is Cloudflare. Accounts and synced saves live in a Supabase-hosted Postgres database. Advertising is Google. That is the whole list. We do not sell data, we do not run analytics profiling, and there is no mailing list to be added to — we never asked for your email.

CHILDREN

The games are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them. Since no account requires an email or a real name, there is nothing personal to collect in the first place.

ASKING US SOMETHING

To delete a BANDO account, ask what is stored against it, or raise anything on this page, contact IGNIUM LLC through the address listed for the operator of thebando.cc. Deleting an account removes the username, the hash and every synced save with it.
